Peter Bordes is a Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of MediaTrust. Previously, he spent much of his career in banking and venture capital and was a founder of Mason Cabot investment bank, which specialized in early stage media and technology financing. Mr. Bordes was also a founder and chairman of the board of Empire Media, Inc., a publishing, marketing, and technology enterprise which incubated and founded Find.com, the first "True Business Search" engine, and of Advaliant, an online performance marketing platform. Currently, Mr. Bordes is an investor, serves on the boards of, or is an adviser to a number of media and technology companies, such as Widemile, Northstar Software, Roomlinx Inc. (RMLX: OTCBB), jiwire, Greater Media Inc, and Affilicon. Peter serves on the board of Conservation International and is also the Chairman of the Performance Marketing Alliance Fundraising Committee.
Keith Cohn joined MediaTrust as President following the acquisition of Bardon Advisors, where Cohn was Founder and CEO. Mr. Cohn is responsible for leading MediaTrust through its next stage of growth, expanding its offerings and helping to further establish its foothold as the leading global performance marketing platform. Mr. Cohn comes to MediaTrust with more than 20 years of leadership experience, building brands and businesses for start-ups and large established companies. Prior to launching Bardon Advisors, Cohn was President and CEO of Vendare Media, an Idealab & venture-backed Internet advertising and media firm. From 2000 to 2006, he led Vendare Media from a pre-revenue, fledgling Internet start-up into a $120mm a year diversified marketing firm with an emphasis on lead generation and other forms of performance- based marketing. Vendare Media merged with Net Blue (re-named Conexxus, which recently merged with Azoogle / Epic Advertising.)
As CTO Marc Tibbitts brings over 20 years of enterprise-class development experience and a wealth of knowledge in many programming languages and disciplines to MediaTrust. Mr. Tibbitts is responsible for architecting and supporting core technologies for the MediaTrust performance marketing platform, as well as leading and managing MediaTrust's in-house engineering team. Previously, Mr. Tibbitts held key engineering positions at software and technology companies such as Paxonix, Lynda.com, Openwave, and Software.com. Mr. Tibbitts holds a BS degree from the University of Utah.
Dave Coburn is COO and VP of Product at MediaTrust, responsible for implementing operational and organizational efficiencies as well as product management and strategic partner integration. Prior to joining MediaTrust, he was at Microsoft for 10 years. At Microsoft, Mr. Coburn was most recently director, product management, for AdECN Exchange, the company's auction-based ad marketplace for online publishers. He had previously served as director, monetization and advertising for Office Live, Microsoft's web based productivity and collaboration service. He began in Microsoft's Platform Windows Planning Group before moving to the Office New Markets Group. Mr. Coburn holds a BA from the University of California - Berkeley, and a Master in Business Administration, Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington.
A veteran marketer of software and technology, Mr. Foster joins MediaTrust with more than a decade of experience in both media and technology. Most recently, Mr. Foster served as vice president, marketing and client services at Intellibank, an online customer relationship management software provider. Mr. Foster has also served as vice president of marketing at Net Exchange, a pioneer of marketplace optimization software used by Schneider Logistics, Sears Logistics, State Street Bank, and the Department of Defense. Additionally, Mr. Foster was one of the original entrepreneurs at CheMatch, an online chemicals marketplace. Mr. Foster has also previously worked for agencies such as McCann-Erickson and The Ad Store, serving clients including Sony, Visa, Coca-Cola, Salomon North America, and Vail Resorts.
