A message from Peter Bordes, CEO of MediaTrust

As most of us would agree, the performance marketing industry has been in the very unique position to thrive during a difficult economic climate. How fortunate are we all that we've been able to help shape the future of online marketing in an indelible way? In order to maintain the ground we have recently gained as an industry, we have made some changes we feel are relevant to point out at this critical moment in our industry's growth.

The essence of MediaTrust's promise is a commitment to innovate and instill trust in our channel. MediaTrust's single goal has always been to elevate the performance marketing industry by providing advertisers and publishers an innovative technology platform powered by human expertise. Our commitment to innovating in the industry has us moving faster than ever to continue to deliver the best tools and thought-leadership for the marketers and publishers that make up our business. With this in mind, I'd like to share a few updates we've made to our offering to the industry.

  • Our pay-for-performance platform, previously known as "Advaliant" will now be known as "MediaTrust." The aim of unifying our brands under one name is to simplify our brand and offering to appeal to the increasing number of advertisers moving dollars into our segment. Of course, we will continue to provide best-in-class, hands-on service to ensure our advertising and publishing partners attain optimal results for their pay-for-performance campaigns.

  • We have redesigned and updated our website (www.mediatrust.com). We have also included a new compliance resource center to inform our advertising and publishing partners. Check it out at: http://mediatrust.com/compliance.html

  • We continue to provide valuable research, education and thought leadership via our industry focused blog, blog.mediatrust.com

  • We continue to provide financial and human resources to furthering industry goals via the Performance Marketing Alliance (http://www.performancemarketingalliance.com)

  • We have made more stringent the qualifications required of our publishers and advertisers to ensure all they meet our high standards.

  • We continue to make regular technology platform updates to provide our affiliate publishers and advertisers with more robust tools and better campaign visibility. Recent updates include the addition of new APIs to facilitate workflows and campaign discovery, a more intuitive platform Help system, and new industry-leading fraud detection tools to protect advertisers and publishers. While our work is never done, we take pride in the recent validation we received by earning the 9th fastest growing US company in 2009 by Inc. magazine. The award is a point of pride to us, as we have been working very hard to deliver value for our partners and our industry.
